Bar & Resto Menu — Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how refunds work for purchases of Bar & Resto Menu licenses. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all license purchases made through our official channels.

1. Our Refund Commitment

We stand behind the quality of Bar & Resto Menu. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all license purchases — no questions asked.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of payment.

2. The 30-Day Free Trial

Before any payment is required, the App includes a 30-day free trial with all features enabled. This trial is designed to give you ample time to evaluate whether the App meets your restaurant’s needs.

We strongly encourage you to use the full trial period before purchasing a license, as the trial offers the same complete experience as a paid license.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Within 30 Days of Purchase

Any purchase made through our official payment providers may be refunded within 30 days of the purchase date for any reason. To qualify:

  • The refund request must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase
  • The license must not have been previously refunded
  • You must contact us through one of the official channels listed in Section 5

We do not require an explanation for refund requests within this window.

3.2 After 30 Days

Refund requests after the 30-day window are evaluated case-by-case and are generally limited to the following situations:

  • Technical defects that prevent the App from functioning as described and that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time
  • Material misrepresentation in our marketing where the App does not provide a feature we explicitly advertised
  • Duplicate purchases made by mistake
  • Unauthorized purchases (subject to verification)

We do not offer refunds after 30 days for:

  • Change of mind
  • Discontinuation of your restaurant business
  • Switching to a different software solution
  • Hardware compatibility issues that are documented in our system requirements
  • Issues caused by your modifications to the App or device

4. Subscription Cancellations vs. Refunds

These are two different actions:

4.1 Canceling a Subscription

You can cancel any active subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not refund the current billing period. Your license remains active until the end of the current period.

To cancel: through your payment provider’s portal (Paddle), or by contacting us at [email protected].

4.2 Refunding a Past Payment

A refund returns money already charged. If you want both — to refund a recent payment and stop future charges — request both when contacting us.

4.3 Monthly Subscriptions

  • Within 30 days of your first purchase: full refund available
  • After 30 days: subscriptions are non-refundable but can be canceled to stop future charges. Already-paid months continue to function until expiration.

4.4 Yearly Subscriptions

  • Within 30 days of purchase: full refund available
  • After 30 days: pro-rata refunds are not generally offered. You may cancel renewal to prevent the next year’s charge.

4.5 Lifetime Licenses

  • Within 30 days of purchase: full refund available
  • After 30 days: lifetime licenses are non-refundable except for cases described in Section 3.2

5. How to Request a Refund

Please include:

  • Your full name and email used at purchase
  • Your license key (if known)
  • Order number or transaction reference
  • Date of purchase
  • Brief description of the reason (optional but appreciated to help us improve)

We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days of approval.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are issued through the original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card payments — refunded to the same card; may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank
  • PayPal payments — refunded to your PayPal account, typically within 1–3 business days
  • Other payment methods — refunded through the same channel where possible

We refund the amount actually paid by you, excluding any currency conversion fees, payment processor fees, or bank fees that the payment provider may not return.

7. Effect of Refund on Your License

Once a refund is issued:

  • Your license key is revoked
  • The App stops functioning beyond the trial period
  • You must remove the App from your devices
  • Your data remains on your devices and is your responsibility to back up or delete

If you wish to use the App again in the future, you may purchase a new license.

8. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us for a refund is considered a breach of our Terms of Service. Chargebacks result in immediate revocation of your license, may result in being banned from future purchases, and may be disputed by us with the payment processor.

We always prefer to resolve issues directly and quickly. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback.

9. Exceptions and Special Cases

9.1 Promotional Purchases

Licenses purchased at promotional discounts, during sales, or through bundle offers are subject to the same 30-day money-back guarantee, with refunds processed at the actual amount paid (not the regular price).

9.2 Gift Purchases

If a license was purchased as a gift, only the original purchaser may request a refund.

9.3 Bulk or Volume Purchases

Refund terms for bulk licenses (typically 10 or more) may be agreed separately in writing. Contact us before bulk purchases for specific terms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
